I liked that this book moved Sarah Winston out of the rut the last couple of books had been in. I didn't love the ending (the wrap up didn't make sense with most of the rest of the books; not enough clues had been laid) but it was overall an enjoyable read.
The book opens with Sarah starting a garage sale for a cute young couple who are downsizing now that they've moved to town. Too bad all of the furniture is actually stolen and Sarah is the number one suspect. But her friend Michelle has it even worse. In line for a promotion at the Air Base, she's just had a big charge made against her and she's not allowed to know what it is or who made it. However, she can pretty well figure it out. Too bad he ends up dead in her car.
So Sarah is trying not only to save her friend Michelle but herself (and her DA boyfriend Seth whose reputation is also on the line). It's a lot to juggle but she might just figure out some things along the way.

Opinions are my own
Like most things in my life, my reading journey proceeds in a convoluted and undirected fashion. The reading cut ends up being about 75% romance, 25% everything else. Almost all of the books will have been supplied by the publisher in return for an honest review.

The Gun Also Rises by Sherry Harris
Belle Winthrop Granville is a grande dame who is selling off her massive book collection. Her first editions and books in the library are being sold by a local dealer. Her paperbacks and popular fiction, she's asked garage sale whiz Sarah Winston to deal with. Too bad Sarah is once again having to dodge bullets. It might just have something to do with the bundle of papers that Sarah discovered that seem to be the papers Hemingway's first wife lost on a trip to Paris.
There is, as usual, a lot going on in this story. There is also a first edition Hemingway, a group of treasure hunters going after the same thing, a murder, rivalries, and an old army friend and his wife who are having some problems. It makes the book a bit disconnected in places but regular Harris readers won't be deterred.

I Know What You Bid Last Summer by Sherry Harris
Sarah Winston is running a little bit different sale; this time, she's helping a school raise some funds. Most of the items are used sports items but she also gets some high ticket items like a signed jersey. Too bad she's knocked over the head the night before the sale and most of the more highly priced items are stolen. And the day of the sale, Sarah finds the school's principal dead in a back room. There are enough layers to make this story interesting but not so many that any of the stories get lost. I really like that CJ is gone, the will-they-won't-they of that whole relationship is more annoying than intriguing. And there are parts of this story that get a little repetitive. Maybe it's the whole series but I feel like every other book gets good.

A Good Day to Buy by Sherry Harris
At the end of the last book, I wasn't sure that I liked our narrator, Sarah, very much. This book got her more on an even keel for me. Her brother has mysteriously shown up in town after nearly two years of estrangement. And this is right on the heels of a sale where the husband and wife were viciously attacked while Sarah was running their tag sale.
Now Sarah has to balance the love of her ex-husband (who doesn't really impress me much) with the love she has for her brother. There is also still a lot of tension between Sarah and her ex, most-eligible-bachelor attorney, Seth.
I like the way this story is heading better than the last one. This is still a fast, fun, and fluffy series worth following.

All Murders Final! by Sherry Harris
Sarah Winston started an online garage sale, never dreaming that it would lead her to discovering a dead body. Specifically, that of Margaret More, a woman seemingly beloved by all. At least she was well-respected. Except that she and Sarah had had some words on the garage sale site which makes her a possible suspect. It gets weirder when a picture of Sarah next to the body comes up on her Snapchat-like app. And the pics keep coming; someone is stalking her. Possibly the same person that attacks both Sarah and another garage sale site buyer. As the bodies piles up, it appears more and more like Sarah might be on the list to be the next.
This book again delves into the relationship between Sarah and her ex-husband CJ. She still has feelings for him and can't decide whether or not getting involved again with him is the right thing to do.
I didn't love Sarah in this book. Stubbornly sticking to trying and find the murderer. At least the men in her life didn't keep trying to keep her out of it (not too much). And I'm trying to decide whether or not I liked the very end of this book. I think it's where the series has been leading but I'll hold out until we read more about the future in the next book.
