A Snowy Little Christmas by Fern Michaels; Tara Sheets; Kate Clayborn

Starry Night by Fern Michaels
Jessie Richmond has a marketing job by day with a lovelorn talk show host job by night. She lives in CPhiladelphia and generally enjoys her life but when her uncle moves to Florida and tells her that she can have his book store in rural New York, Jessie suddenly has a life change that she's dealing with. Also a change? Working with contractor Ethan is getting her a bit flustered. And when the speed dating event she's putting on is snowed in, it's time for some romance.

A nice romance starter- it hints that romance might happen. 3.5 stars.

Mistletoe and Mimosas by Tara Sheets
A Snowy Little Christmas by Fern MichaelsLayla used to be the poor girl in town. Sebastian is not and he throws her off by being very nice one day and rude the next. Now Layla is a fancy pants real estate agent and Sebastian has moved back to town and is in need of a house so their paths cross again.
This story was okay but I never really warmed to Layla who was sort of more of the focus. The actual story was nice but I wish that there had bee more character development.

Missing Christmas by Kate Clayborn
Kristen and Jasper have worked together for five years. It is understood that there will be no romance between them in order to keep their company going. But Jasper has always loved Kristen. And this Christmas, while trying to save their company, they are snowed in together and... welll. This is a romance so...
My favorite of the three stories, I liked that Jasper and Kristen knew each other well enough to respect and love each other even before the relationship began.

A Season to Celebrate by Fern Michaels; Kate Pearce; Donna Kauffman; Priscilla Oliveras

A Season to CelebrateChristmas Homecoming by Fern Michaels
Kevin Matthews is grateful to be back home in Texas after his time in the Air Force. He's trying to figure out his next move but his interest in the town's new surgeon, Kate Stafford, may make the decision easier.
This story was a little hard to follow in places  but I suspect that regular readers of the series would have no problem.

An Unexpected Gift by Kate Pearce
A nice story about an older couple. Bella is helping to plan her son's wedding and Billy is happy to help her get things done. And maybe they might find their own HEA.
I think having read other books in the series would have made this book more understandable but it was a very cute story.

Christmas in Blue Hollow Falls by  Donna Kauffman
Chef Hudson Walker has just finished working a wedding when he sees Moira Brogan being harassed in a bar. He steps in to help even though she's got it handled. They then start to spend a little more time together even though she's a planner to the nth degree while he tends to be a little more free form.
I was so looking forward to this story and... I just didn't feel it. After reading about Moira in the previous book, I was hoping for a little more of her story. But I did appreciate the story of her previous romantic fling not turning into an HEA.

Holiday Homerun by Priscilla Oliveras
Julia Fernandez is sick of hearing about baseball. She just wants to pursue her dreams of a being an event planner in Chicago rather than taking over the family business in Puerto Rico. So why is she getting so distracted by the VIP for her event, former pro baseball player Ben Thomas.
This was a little too sweet for me but I think regular readers will enjoy.
