Best friends from 9 to 13, Max Bennett and Emilia Campbell are reunited when Max needs some rehabilitation after a skydiving accident. Emilia works at the prestigious center Max goes to. Seeing each other after all that time, it seems like their feelings have hardly changed. Even though Max is now working for his family's company which his brothers and sister built from the ground up. And Emilia is dealing with her beloved grandmother's Alzheimer's.Rebuilding their relationship and then turning it into something... more adult, Emilia and Max slide right into love. The ending is a little shaky but it was worth a read.
