Bounce Back by Susan Kahn

I was really surprised to finish the first chapter and realize that everything about failing fast (the first part of the subtitle) was completely over. Overall, this is the kind of self help book that I really enjoy. More science than story, really well researched with the facts to back up all the reasons Kahn was suggesting certain ways to deal with problems at work.
For self-help junkies, there aren't a ton of new ways to cope but Kahn has put them together in a readable and usable manner.

Suddenly Mine by Samantha Chase

In previous books in the series, Christian Montgomery made an appearance as a workaholic heading toward disaster in pursuit of winning his father's approval. And his health does become a problem in this book but luckily, his mother and aunt have just hired a nurse for the company and she is there to
make sure he's okay.
Christian is somewhat disappointed that Sophie is his employee. He's been admiring her determination to surf for weeks and now she's loathe to have a relationship with him because he his her boss.
Except that he's not really her boss, she's a contractor and reports to someone else. And he's willing to make it work.
Didn't love the ending but most of the story was pretty good. Looking forward to hearing Carter's story, how opening up an everyday restaurant in Montauk is going to shake up his life.

One Mistletoe Wish by A.C. Arthur

One Mistletoe Wish by A.C. ArthurMorgan Hill is a teacher, widow, and mother of five-ear-old twins. She isn't looking for love. Especially not with a big city business man who is only in town to sell off the buildings he owns, many of which are used heavily by the community, a community that Morgan loves.
Grayson Taylor doesn't love Temptation. It was a town that thrived off of the reality show that was he and his five siblings, sextuplets. Unfortunately, their reality show tore apart his parent's marriage. Now, as the oldest, he's been elected to take care of his father's estate. But he's intrigued by the woman that he sees. And he seriously falls in love with her children.
I really liked the world building and the story but the writing was a bit... rough. and really dragged in places. I hope Arthur gets a better editor because I'm really looking forward to reading more of her stories.
